Okay, so who's the real star of this show? Ellie! Our furry, black snuggle puppy loves pumpkin. Betsy does, too. Unbeknownst to me, dogs like pumpkin and it's actually very good for them. Our vet recommended a long time ago that we add a spoonful to their diet each day -- something about extra fiber. It usually comes from the can, but on Halloween morning, it came fresh from the jack-o'-lantern! We were in the midst of carving our pumpkins when Ellie wandered in. She watched for awhile and then "dug" right in, and we had to be careful about how much of it she ate! The photo of her with her whole head in the pumpkin his hi-lar-i-ous! Of course, she paid for that -- with a bath! Pumpkin-loving Ellie added a whole new dimension to our pumpkin-carving this year. What a sweet girl she is...
