Snowy Surprise

Crawling around in the snow...

Who doesn't love a snow day, even if it is on a Saturday!? The snow began to fall around 2 in the afternoon and continued to drift down from the sky for a solid four hours. It was surprising that it even accumulated, but it did. And just enough for some snowy play. Snowy bushes...My two sweeties... Hmmm...Christmas card photo?
Somehow, a little dusting of snow makes Christmas seem a little more real, and it was certainly a picture-perfect evening. The Little Nguyens may not have missed any school days due to the flurry of white flakes falling from the sky, but they were excited nonetheless! They were even happy enough to pose for a few photos for Mommy. Preparing to attack!
It was such a beautiful, light snow, but wet enough to roll into a snowman or, as Daddy discovered...SNOWBALLS! He amassed his supply in preparation for attack on the Little Nguyens. He snuck around the side of the house and surprised them, but it didn't take them long to realize what was going on. Of course, they retaliated with joy!No, no! Don't throw a snowball at the camera! What's that? It's DAD! Ahhhhh! Retreat!! I'm gonna get you, Dad!

Thank goodness for a little snow. It sure put us all in a festive mood.
