Last night, Uncle John and Aunt Suzy came over and we celebrated the First Annual Pre-Christmas Dinner, Dessert & DVD night! What fun! We ate dinner together, the Little Nguyens watched "Rudolph," and then we exchanged gifts. The First Little Nguyen received an awesome glow-in-the-dark puzzle (yes, it really does, as we tested it out by dragging the finished product into the closet today), a dinosaur bones excavation kit (BIG hit, Annie & Kris!), and a....wait for it....membership to the North Carolina Museum of Natural History! Now, for those of you who are not up-to-date on the most current news in palentology, there is a BIG, BIG exhibit at the museum right now! And now he has a membership card in his wallet and he knows how to flash it!
The Second Little Nguyen was feeling a bit under the weather, but he sprang back just in time to put together a new puzzle with his favorite person in the world...Uncle John! The little guy has been asking for about two weeks, "Uncle John coming today?" It has been a long wait! He enjoyed eating cookies and drinking cocoa by the warm fire (he wore his turnout gear for most of the evening), and here he can be seen kissing his Peanut Butter Kiss. I think he is still wearing his fire pants....inside out.
