Kite Flight

The temperatures weren't the only thing soaring in our neck of the woods this week! The First Little Nguyen took his kite out for a spring day flight at Aunt Suzy and Uncle John's. Their spacious front yard (and backyard and side yards....) was an ideal setting -- there is ample space for takeoff and crash landings!

Over the weekend, the Little Nguyen's were playing outside in Aunt Suzy's yard, exploring the new territory, locating all of the trees they would like to climb, and taking inventory of the best hiding places for hide-and-seek. Among the surprising discoveries were two sweet little girls...the same ages as the Little Nguyens...living right next door! Although he pretended not to notice their extreme cuteness, the First Little Nguyen had lots of questions on the way home about Kate and Lily. And you can bet he selected the location for this inaugural kite flight to show how just how high he can fly his kite!

I am sure his next flight plan will include a layover at Aunt Suzy and Uncle John's!
