The Little Professor

It was only a matter of time, wasn't it? LOOK at what the First Little Nguyen brought home this week!

It was "clear" when we visited Dr. Bailey a few weeks ago that the time had come for his first pair of glasses. He has been having lots of headaches, bouts of tired eyes, and has been rubbing them while we read. We kind of knew it was coming. The First Little Nguyen was not all too thrilled at the thought of wearing glasses, but once he realized he could run and jump without knocking them off his face, he warmed up to the idea. For now, he needs his glasses at school, for reading, to do homework and to assemble small things (umm...like the bazillion LEGOS in this house).

We tried on what seemed like a thousand frames, each time ending with the same response from the First Little Nguyen: "Nope." Then the First Little Nguyen tried on this pair, and a slight smirk crept onto his face as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. Aahh...he liked what he saw! He chose wisely, we think. He's even more handsome than ever. And he has earned a new nickname that seems to really fit his personality: The Little Professor!
