Coincidentally, today the Second Little Nguyen found a Superman wallet at Target. (And how does he even know who Superman is? I certainly have not enlightened him!) Up until now we have been keeping all $4.10 of his life savings in a ziploc bag! Who could imagine..... Well, I couldn't resist buying it. Every boy needs somewhere special to keep his money. Now he can be a Super Saver!
So far, he hasn't asked to be a Super Spender! No, it would never occur to him to spend his own money.... He just walks alongside my shopping cart and tosses things in like I won't notice. "We need dis mutad (mustard), Mom." "We need dis twuck (truck), Mom." "Mom, we need Hewshey Kiffes(Hershey Kisses)! We no have some more!" It's SO HARD to say no to that smile when he tosses chocolate in the cart!

Last night at Harris Teeter after collecting hotdogs, mustard, ketchup, marshmellows, graham crackers, baked beans, vanilla soy milk, and sugarless bubblegum into our shopping carts, Thomas looked up at me and said, "we need bwoowberrwies". You can't resist it! "Lead us to the bwoowberrwies, Thomas!" He knew the way!
