Oh, what fun an empty cardboard box can be! Today was a particularly rainy, cold day, but the Littlest Nguyen didn't let that put a damper on his fun! When he saw this empty box in our kitchen, he ran for his plastic Home Depot saw. Before I knew it, he was inside, sawing away at its corner. The kitchen floor is a mess right now with cardboard shavings, but who cares, really? If there is an empty cardboard box around our house, the boys will quickly claim it, cut it up, paint it, and use it as a hovercraft or some other vehicle. I love watching kids have fun with the simplest things... It sure beats staring out the window at the pouring rain!
